Avatar Kyoshi has such a distinctive design, and is an amazing character. I've wanted to try drawing her for ages.
It feels slightly wrong to draw her without her war paint (it's definitely not just make-up) as she's never shown without it, but it sort of accidentally came about from building up the layers. Let's say this is her preparing for the day after a morning bathe

Turns out she had tanned skin with a lot of freckles. She also used to HATE wearing makeup back when she was a teen.
