It was the middle of the night. A young man was in his apartment room. Numerous scientific equipment were laid out everywhere. He was staring at a machine that was spinning 4 test tubes. After a minute, the machine stopped. He grabbed one of the tubes and held it high from his face. “Yes! I’ve finally made a muscle growth serum!” The young man said excitedly. The 20 year old is named Marc. He looks like your stereotypical nerd; very frail body, short dark brown hair, and thick blue glasses to help his brown eyes. But, he secretly has a crush on a girl named Maxine, often going by Max. In contrast to Marc, Max was more of a tomboy. Her short black hair was always messy from all her workouts. She was tanned from always working out in the sun. Her body was also incredibly well built and toned from all this physical activity. Just thinking about her muscles made Marc blush like a tomato. They actually have been friends ever since childhood, but he never worked the courage to ask her out.
